Premium Aluminum Edge Protection Profile not only provides an attractive finish but also protects the most vulnerable points of the flooring: the edges. The L-shaped design "frames" the stone carpet, preventing chipping at the edges and mechanical damage.

📏 Which size should I choose? (Layer Structure Guide)
Always match the profile height to the intended function and the stone carpet's layer thickness. Please choose the appropriate type:

4 mm high profile (Length: 270 cm):
🏠 For wall surfaces and baseboards. Ideal for finishing thinner coatings on vertical surfaces. -
5-6 mm high profile (Length: 270 cm):
🚶 For pedestrian walking surfaces. For standard-thickness flooring of terraces, walkways, garden paths, and stairs. -
8 mm high profile (Length: 250 cm!):
🚗 For vehicle loads. For garage driveways and parking areas where a thicker layer and extra load-bearing capacity are needed.
🛠️ Installation and Fixing Recommendation
Securely fixing the profiles is a critical part of the installation. Outdoors, due to temperature fluctuations, metal and concrete move differently, so instead of conventional adhesives we recommend a special solution.
Recommended adhesive: Sika AnchorFix® Chemical Anchor
The chemical anchor cures to "concrete-like hardness," so the profile won't shift or come loose even under vehicle loads. The profiles must be fixed to the substrate before installing the stone carpet (using anchors or adhesive).
