VIRANIX PRIMECOAT 2K - Waterproof Topcoat

VIRANIX PRIMECOAT 2K is a two-component, high-strength topcoat that reduces the porosity of the stone carpet and forms a waterproof protective layer. With the correct layer structure, layer thickness, and professional application, a continuous, waterproof surface can be achieved.

Depending on the conditions of use, it can improve abrasion and chemical resistance and provide extra protection in heavily loaded or permanently damp areas.

Mixing ratio: 317.5 g of component A (topcoat) + 16 g of component B (hardener) is required per 1 m² of surface. The required hardener is included in the pack with the topcoat.

Coverage

• In most cases, 2 thin coats are recommended. (150 g/m²+150 g/m²=300 g/m2)

Step-by-Step Application

1. Surface: fully cured, dry, dust-free stone carpet.

2. Mixing, application: with a roller/brush, in a thin, even layer.

3. Curing: walkable after ~24 hours at 20–22 °C, full load-bearing capacity after ~72 hours.

Working Conditions

• Temperature: +5 – +25 °C; keep rain and moisture off the fresh layer.

Storage and Safety

• In original packaging, in a dry, cool place.

• Use according to the safety data sheet.
