VIRANIX 2K Coarse Grain stone carpet is a professional flooring system that delivers an exclusive look. The pack includes 25 kg of premium stone aggregate and a precisely matched 1.2 kg total (A+B) epoxy binder. Together they form a robust, extremely stable surface.
- Extreme adhesion and load capacity: The two-component (A+B) epoxy binder provides tremendous bonding strength, keeping even coarse aggregate firmly locked together.
- Precisely measured ratios: No guesswork! The pack contents are in the perfect ratio — just mix the resin and pour it over the aggregate.

- Complete outdoor protection: Epoxy resins are UV-sensitive (may yellow slightly). For outdoor use, applying VIRANIX PrimeCoat 2K topcoat is mandatory for long-term color retention and waterproofing.

Due to the coarse-grain design, the coverage of one full set (26.2 kg) breaks down as follows:

Guaranteed Adhesion and Layer Structure
For unbreakable adhesion, the surface must first be treated with VIRANIX Terralock 1K primer.
Thoroughly mix the "A" and "B" components of the epoxy resin (1.2 kg total), then pour it over the 25 kg of coarse aggregate and turn it evenly. Spread with a stainless steel trowel.
To protect the surface, provide UV protection (prevent yellowing), and ensure waterproofing:

What surfaces can VIRANIX stone carpet be applied to?
With proper preparation and layer structure, VIRANIX stone carpet can be applied to outdoor and indoor surfaces, for example:
- terraces, stairs, walkways,

Is it suitable for vehicle loads?

- proper priming,
- applying VIRANIX PRIMECOAT 2K topcoat.
⚠️ Without the above conditions, the product cannot be considered suitable for vehicle loads.
What thickness is needed for different uses?

- Interior wall: approx. 2–3 mm
- Terrace, stairs, pedestrian traffic: approx. 4–6 mm
- Vehicle loads: minimum 6-8 mm + 2K topcoat

What warranty applies to VIRANIX stone carpet?
As a product, VIRANIX stone carpet is covered by the statutory warranty for defects.
In addition:
- 15-year system and material warranty if installation is carried out by an official VIRANIX partner according to the specified layer structure
- 3-year warranty if installation is carried out by a non-official partner
⚠️ The warranty does not cover an unsuitable substrate, installation errors, or deviation from the layer structure.
Is VIRANIX stone carpet completely smooth?
The surface of the stone carpet is finely textured, with a natural stone effect.
With a topcoat, the surface becomes more sealed and easier to clean, but it won't be mirror-smooth like a resin floor.
This property is what provides the slip resistance.
What are the advantages of stone carpet flooring?
VIRANIX stone carpet is a slip-resistant, UV-resistant, frost-resistant, and extremely durable flooring. Its flexible structure handles thermal expansion well, gives a modern look, and with the proper topcoat is easy to keep clean. With the proper layer structure, it's also suitable for vehicle loads.
Is primer needed under VIRANIX stone carpet?
Yes. VIRANIX stone carpet cannot be applied without priming.
The primer's job is:
- ensuring adhesion,
- equalizing the substrate's absorbency,
- increasing the flooring's service life.
⚠️ If priming is improper or skipped, the flooring's adhesion may suffer, and this is not covered by the warranty.
Is VIRANIX stone carpet water-permeable or waterproof?
Unlike conventional (porous) systems, VIRANIX stone carpet with the proper layer structure forms a completely waterproof surface. Thanks to its sealed structure, moisture and dirt cannot penetrate the material.
- Outdoors: Together with the mandatory VIRANIX PrimeCoat 2K topcoat, it provides 100% waterproofing and UV protection, protecting the substrate from water damage and frost.
- Indoors: It forms a sealed, hygienic surface that (treated with a topcoat) is easy to mop and keep clean.
⚠️ Important tip for outdoor use: Since the flooring is waterproof (water doesn't flow through it), when installing on terraces and outdoor surfaces, you must ensure the substrate has a proper slope (min. 1.5–2%) so rainwater can drain off the surface unobstructed!
